Indian Cinema

Right from Raja Harishchandra, India has contributed a lot in the world cinema. The period of 1947 saw the birth of a modern Indian cinema. Earlier, the films made in India were all mythological or sometimes historical too but after 1947, a huge change appeared, more and more reformist movies were being made and this brought a change in the society too. I personally got influenced by the films made by Satyajit Ray. Film-makers like him started focusing on the lives of lower class people who were ignored by the society.

Cinema – My Perspective

Cinema, what is it? To record things and show them? No, then you can go for a reel instead. For me cinema is more than that for sure. I see cinema as a window to the world. It’s an escape from the reality into another real world which is actually unreal. Might be a quite complex, but if you love films then it isn’t actually, and as you do so you are here.
